Research

Her teaching and research concentrates on modern thought and literature, women’s writing and gender studies, transnational approaches to aesthetics, culture and politics. Furthermore, she has been interested in the Jewish-German tradition, the work of Lou Andreas-Salomé, Walter Benjamin, and Ingeborg Bachmann, memory studies, autobiographics, and romanticism.
